Want to Do It Yourself? Here are some places that accept different types of materials.
Getting rid of your unwanted junk, renovation debris and furniture is sometimes easier if you do it yourself. If you have access to a vehicle, man power and a desire to do the work here are some locations that accept materials in the Vancouver Area.

Vancouver Landfill (Operated by the City of Vancouver)

Find A Paint Depot
Paint can be tricky to get rid of. Make sure that your can does not say “Industrial” on it. If it does, it is considered commercial waste and the municipally funded programs will not accept it anymore. Here is a list of places that accept paint.

Computers & Electronics
Computers, televisions and monitors can no longer be thrown into the regular garbage. There are several components inside them that are much better recycled. Here is a list of places that accept the items, often free of charge:
